Data We Collect
We collect the minimum information required to provide you with an exceptional AI experience:
- Account information — your email address and password (hashed) when you register.
- Conversations — messages you send and AI responses, stored to enable conversation history and memory features.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration, and error logs to improve the platform.
- Uploaded files — documents and images you submit for analysis. These are processed and may be stored temporarily.
- Payment information — billing details processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We never store full card numbers.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Deliver AI responses — your messages are sent to our AI model to generate answers.
- Personalization — conversation history is used to provide context-aware, personalized responses when memory is enabled.
- Improving responses — anonymized usage patterns help us refine model quality and platform performance.
- Account management — email is used for authentication, billing, and important product updates.
- Safety and compliance — we review flagged content to enforce our terms of service and prevent misuse.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your conversations to train external models without your explicit consent.
Smart Mode vs. Private Mode
Unaysah offers two conversation modes to give you control over your data:
- Conversation history is saved and indexed
- AI has context from previous sessions
- Personalization features are active
- Data retained per your account settings
- No conversation history is stored
- Each session starts fresh
- Uploaded files are discarded after the session
- Ideal for sensitive or confidential queries
Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you at any time.
- Export — download your full conversation history and account data in JSON format from your settings.
- Correction — update or correct your account information from the settings page.
- Deletion — delete your account and all associated data permanently. This action is irreversible.
- Opt-out — disable personalization and memory features at any time from your settings.

Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data — including conversation history, uploaded files, and preferences — is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for longer periods to improve our services.
